As unique as your skin is, your hair is too! Our light weight Hair + Scalp Oil Treatment has been meticulously blended with hand picked ingredients to nourish the scalp and penetrate the hair strands.
With our star ingredient Horsetail Extract in our formulation, our oil delivers a powerful dose of antioxidants, silica minerals, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and anti fungal properties. Dating back to Roman and Greek times horsetail extract has been used for centuries to help with hair growth, nail growth and scalp health. It also helps with tone, texture and shine.
At SunLux we truly believe that healthy hair starts at the scalp. A clean, nourished scalp helps to promote good cell turnover and healthy roots. Taking the time to care for your scalp is going to show in the health of your hair and help to strengthen the bonds of each strand.
We are very sensitive here at SunLux to our customer base with allergies and that is the reason for leaving out essential oils in this blend. We hope you and your scalp love it!
*Our formulation is NUT free, but we do have “Safflower” oil in this blend. Safflower oil is part of the Sunflower family. If you are allergic to sunflower seed oil, please do a test patch on your arm before using this oil to make sure you will not have an allergic reaction to it. We are happy to send you a sample if you message us.
Star Ingredients are:
Horsetail Extract - powerful antioxidant + silica minerals to help strengthen and grow the hair as well as nourishing the scalp.
Calendula Extract - rich in flavonoids that provide anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and anti fungal properties. Helping to sooth and protect while keeping the skin in balance and reducing irritation.
Perilla Seed Oil - a very light weight and highly moisturizing oil that absorbs rapidly. High in skin loving alpha-Linolenic Acid (ALA), an omega-3 essential fatty acids, it is extremely effective in moisturizing, soothing and protecting mature, dry, cracked, sensitive and challenging, stubborn dry skin types. It nourishes, conditions and helps protect the scalp and hair.
Avocado Oil - pressed from the flesh of the avocado, this oil is very stable, moisturizing, and highly penetrating. It helps to improve the tone, texture and appearance of the hair. It is rich in unsaturated fatty acids and is a must in hair care formulations.

DIRECTIONS
- Scalp Oil Application - Apply directly to the scalp at the hair root. Cover as much of the head as needed. Massage the entire head and comb through hair. Wait 20 minutes and then wash the hair, or leave on over night for a deep scalp treatment. A double shampoo is recommended to remove all of the oil. Repeat 1-2 times per week.
- Scalp Massager - push button to turn the device on. Run the device across your scalp gently. Use as needed as long as needed.

Recommended to use 1-2 times per week on your scalp.
